About Me

Christie has a BFA in both Fine Arts and in Graphic Design, and a Masters in Art Education. She is a licensed art teacher in New Hampshire and currently works as a K-6 art teacher for the towns of Mont Vernon and Amherst. When Christie is not teaching she can be found either in her home studio or enjoying the outdoors. Her artwork has been shown with the Hollis Art Society shows, in the West Pearl Street Gallery in Nashua, the Keene State College Alumni shows, as well as many local library shows. Examples of her public works of art include a triptych at the Millyard Bank in Nashua, and a historical mural at the Millyard Bank in Hollis. She has done public art for Positive Street Art in Nashua and painted jersey barriers on West Pearl Street. She prefers painting large scale abstractions, but enjoys painting pet portraits, children’s art, and murals for others. Her designs included posters, post cards, flyers, logos, t-shirts, and social media ads. Christie also teaches art lessons and workshops for small groups in her home studio in Hollis.
